Spitzkoppe Day Tour — Rolling Hills Safaris Namibia

Tour Overview
Join us for an unforgettable journey to Spitzkoppe, one of Namibia’s most iconic natural wonders — often called the “Matterhorn of Africa” due to the striking granite peaks that rise dramatically from the desert plains.
This full-day adventure takes you deep into the heart of Namibia’s rugged Erongo Region, where raw geological beauty meets ancient cultural history. You’ll explore towering granite formations, discover fascinating San rock art, enjoy sweeping desert vistas, and capture amazing photos at sunrise or sunset light.
What to Expect
Scenic Drive: Comfortable 4×4 transport across changing landscapes, from coastal plains into the desert basin. Expect gravel road travel as you approach Spitzkoppe.
Rock Formations & Views: Explore the spectacular granite peaks, boulders, and natural features like Arch Rock and Pontok mountains — perfect for photography and light scrambling.
Cultural Highlights: Visit sites with ancient Bushmen (San) rock paintings — some over 2,000 years old — gaining insight into Namibia’s earliest inhabitants.
Relaxed Exploration: Enjoy beautiful desert scenery, possible wildlife sightings (e.g., klipspringer, baboons), and immersive nature walks.
