Coastal Birding Day Tour
The Coastal Birding Day Tour is a guided birdwatching experience focusing on the rich birdlife found along Namibia’s Atlantic coast. The Walvis Bay Lagoon, salt pans, and surrounding desert areas provide important habitats for both resident and migratory birds.
These tours can be conducted in ½ day or full day tours
½ Day : preferably in the AM as the wind is normally less but PM birding is good as well.
(also species orientated tours to look for a specific species like the Dune Lark)
Rates:
Half-Day ( AM or PM ) Duration: 5.5 Hours
Minimum 2 Adults
Adults: N$ 2500.00 per person
Children ( under 13 ): N$ 1250.00 per person
Depart Walvisbay at: 7:30 and back at 13:00
Mainly Walvisbay to Pelican point
Full Day AM Duration: 10-11 Hours
Minimum 2 Adults
Adults: N$ 3500.00 per person
Children ( under 13 ): N$ 1750.00 per person
Depart walvisbay : 7:30 and return to departure point at 17:30-18:00
Includes, coffee, tea, home made rusks and Muffins with a small stop over during the morning session
Covers an extensive range from Rooibank to Pelican point
All tours can be done by single travellers if they join an existing group.
SADC rates on request only on all tours
Kids 0-6 Years free of charge
Includes: bottled water, soft drinks, juices, beer, and a light safari meal.
